We are a small "Mom & Pop" farm with the SOUL purpose of raising food ethically and with respect and putting good wholesome food on our neighbors table. We raise grass fed and grass finished Hereford and Angus Cattle for beef, raise a patchwork of chickens for eggs and have honey bees for honey, cooking and natural botanicals. We also make salsa from peppers from our farm and veggies from the loca

We had to say goodbye to our livestock guardian donkey, Pancake, last night. The farm just won’t be the same without her.

She was more stubborn than gentle but that’s exactly what made her so good at her job. She was tough, opinionated and plain onerry sometimes but we sure will miss her brays echoing across the pasture in the mornings.

Rest easy, Pancake. You earned it. 🐴💔
