🥟 From Maryland to Arizona … what a wild, pierogi ride it’s been! 🌵
These pictures take us back to 2024, when 123 Pierogi was just getting started in Maryland, to where we are today, slinging pierogis under the Arizona sun!
We still remember those first Saturdays at Field Fresh Farmers Market. Just my wife and me, a tent, a Coleman camping grill, enough humidity to swim through, and a whole lot of optimism. We’d show up every weekend, sweat through our shirts, and celebrate making $100 - $250 in sales like we’d just gone public on Wall Street. 😂
It was hot. It was chaotic. It was gritty as hell. And we absolutely loved it. Well … most of it. 🥵
Fast-forward a couple of years, a few thousand pierogis, and one cross-country adventure later, and here we are in Arizona!
We’ve been fortunate enough to serve at some incredible places:
🌵 Uptown Market AZ
🥟 Heritage District Farmers Market
🌵 Eastmark Farmers Market
🥟 Gilbert Farmers Market
🎄 The Mesa Christmas Market
🥟 Field Fresh Farmers Market
Plus, plenty of other markets, festivals, private parties, and corporate events along the way!
There’s something pretty special about watching other small businesses grow, succeed, struggle, and occasionally wonder what the heck they’ve gotten themselves into right alongside you. 😂
To our Maryland friends who gave us our start, welcomed us into their communities, and supported two crazy people cooking pierogis under a tent, thank you. ❤️
To our Arizona market organizers, fellow vendors, and event hosts who have welcomed us with open arms (and thankfully a little less humidity), thank you! 🌵
And most importantly, to every single person who has stopped by our trailer, tried a pierogi, brought a friend, shared a post, or come back for seconds … Y’all are the reason we get to keep doing this!
Whether you’ve been with us since the Coleman grill days or just discovered us last weekend, we’re incredibly grateful.
With love, butter, and probably too much sour cream,
The 123 Pierogi Family
