I wanted you to hear this directly from me: the judge has dismissed both felony charges in my case.
Two misdemeanor charges remain pending, so the case is still ongoing. I’ll continue keeping the evidence and details out of public discussion while that process continues.
But this is a significant step forward for our family, and I’m grateful.
The girl in this picture is Brawny. And through all the conversation surrounding this case, I don’t want her to become just a name in a headline.
I loved this girl. I still miss her. And while there’s plenty I’m choosing not to discuss publicly right now, I know where my heart was.
To everyone who has prayed for us, checked on us, and stood beside our family through a difficult year—thank you. You’ve helped carry more than you know.
We still have more ahead of us. Tonight, we’re taking a breath and thanking God for this step forward.
