Meat Pig Process
*Email us for cost & to have your name put on a list.
*We will notify you within 2 weeks of piglets being born that we have been able to assign a piglet to you. We wait that long to ensure all piglets survive and are healthy.
*We will keep your pig on our farm and will provide feed, water, shelter & a good environment for your pig to grow out until they are ready for butchering
…somewhere around 6 months of age or until the appropriate weight.
*Once ready for butchering we will contact you for payment. We will provide you with your ticket information so that you can call to set up how you’d like for your pig to be processed & to obtain the date that you will be able to pick up your meat.
*We realize that a lot of people may not want to see their piglet or pig & we 100% respect that, however, if you do want to come check our your pig we will be more than happy to offer a time for you to do so. All meat pigs will be assigned to you by us. There will be not method to assigning a meat pig to you.
4-H, Show Pig or Breeder Pig Process

*When contacting us, let us know you are interested in a pig for 4-H, Show Pig, or Breeder Pig. We will castrate the male piglets at approximately 6 weeks of age so it’s imperative to notify us as soon as possible that you’re interested in a Non-Castrated Male Pig, so that we can keep the one you want intact.
*Gilt & Boar are purebred, Hereford Hogs that are registered with the National Hereford Hog Association. Boar’s sire is Cheesehead & grandsire is Heman. Gilt’s sire is Mamas Boy & grandsire is Tank.
*Once the litter is here, we will post pictures of the piglets as well as send you additional pictures, if needed. Anyone interested in pigs for
4-H, Show Pigs, or Breeder Pigs will get to pick from the litter. We will also schedule a time for you to come see the piglets if needed.
*Once you’ve decided on a piglet, payment will be due & you will be able to come pick up your piglet to take to your farm.
*For those of you outside of Georgia, there will be veterinarian fees & possible state regulated fees added to register your pig to cross state lines so there will be a delay in getting them to the vet before you are able to pick them up.
