There is just something extra special about watching an egg go into the incubator and then seeing that tiny little face looking back at you a few weeks later. ❤️

Straight outta the incubator!! Known for their striking all-black appearance, these beauties are unlike anything else in the chicken yard—and we’re SO excited to have them joining the farm! Hoping one of the 4 is a rooster!
Between the Seramas, Silkies, Naked Necks, Polish and now Ayams, apparently we’ve decided ordinary chickens just aren’t our thing. 😂🤷‍♀️🐔

The baby boom continues! 😍 We’ve welcomed some beautiful new Silkie babies to the farm — and one extra-special little cutie… a Naked Neck Silkie! 😂🐔
Fluffy little Silkies and one baby who apparently forgot to put all its feathers on before leaving the house! 🤣❤️
We’re already in love and can’t wait to watch their colors and personalities develop as they grow.

Need to stop and look at the sunrise every now and then I usually do it before starting my work day.

It is not guaranteed that you will get to see one everyday. When you get the chance stop and admire them. They are free to view.

So we are in the lock down stage with the incubator again. Have some barnyard mix chickens opringhtons looking at pipping(starting to hatch) within a couple of days. Made a decision gonna try and make this a little more informative with the next batch that goes in. Thinking I could show the handling process and the behind the scenes of what a small hatch is like. 🐍 Never a dull moment at Bluegrass & Peach Farms! 🐔🍑
Today, Andrew officially earned himself the title of Farm Hero! ❤️
A king snake decided to pay the farm a little visit, and Andrew—who has NEVER wrangled a snake in his life—stepped right up and handled it! He had to untangle it out of the fence even cutting him out of the chicken wire 😂🐍
I’m seriously so proud of him! Apparently all this farm life is turning my Harley man into a full-blown snake wrangler. 🤠
He saved Bluegrass & Peach today… although I’m pretty sure the chickens have no idea how close they came to having an unwanted dinner guest! 😂🐔 No snakes were harmed, he was set free in the woods! Way to go, Andrew! ❤️ My hero!
