It’s First Friday in Downtown Temple and classic rock is entering the chat.
🎸First Friday shop specials all over Downtown Temple and then come kick it at Bird Creek for dinner and live music from Last Ride starting at 7P. We will have some long awaited beers back on tap so come have a pint and let’s get the weekend started!
🌊Jon Holt and The Soundwaves take over Saturday at 7P with a funky bass that sets the vibe. No cover - just bring your bad self.
🎷Our favorite Sunday of the month is back - it’s Jazz Jam weekend y’all. Every first Sunday of the month 1-3P we host some incredible professional musicians and we invite local students and amateurs to come out with their instruments and jam on stage with them. This is an excellent way for young musicians to hone their improv jazz skills in a live performance setting. It’s completely free and musicians just need to bring their own instrument. If you just love jazz and want to enjoy, it’s a perfect afternoon of burgers, beer and unbelievably great music! Enjoy $4 award winning pints, $3 mimosas and 1/2 priced select appetizers all Sunday long!

🎸If you’re looking for somewhere to end up tonight, we’ll be in the Biergarden. Chase Delao Band starts the party at 7P, and there’s no cover. Grab some friends, find a spot on the patio, and settle in for some great local live music.

Also worth mentioning: the Burger con Queso. It’s swimming in house queso and topped with sizzling chorizo and fresh pico, which is exactly as good as it sounds (especially with garlic parm fries).

We’ve got some really good ciders from Houston-based City Orchard, plus two beers that just made their way back onto the board.

Good food, cold drinks and live music. We’ll see you tonight.

We have another great weekend of live music lined up for you guys at the Creek!
🎸Friday, Robert Parker Jr. is bringing the blues to the Biergarden at 7P. If you love a Stevie Ray Vaughan level of guitar talent - this is your guy. Tibetan Pop Star and Golden Grackle are back on tap so it’s the perfect night to come sip a pint and enjoy the start to the weekend.
🍻Saturday at 7P Chase Delao is back at Bird Creek and this time he’s bringin’ the whole gang. Grab your friends and come enjoy some burgers and killer craft beer.
🧇Sunday we slow it down with a cool acoustic set from Dan Dunning from 12-2P. Sunday specials are 🔥 with $4 award winning pints like Lambo Truck and Ghost Beach, $3 mimosas, and 1/2 priced select appetizers all day long. Sundays at the brewery are something special. Laid back live music in the Biergarden over lunch. $4 award winning pints & $3 mimosas. 1/2 priced select apps.
But really what makes Sunday special is the eclectic mixture of people we watch come through the doors. Families come in and play board games. Friends grab a beer and catch a game on the TVs. Couples sneak in a spontaneous brunch date alone. People new to town slide up to the bar and make fast friends with regular locals. It’s a natural coming together as people recenter their focus to time spent taking it all in. Slow down Sunday at Bird Creek and catch Robert Clinkscales’ acoustic set from 12-3P. Sip a great craft beer. Enjoy some juicy burgers. Soak up the last of the weekend with the people that matter. 🍻
