It's that time of year again!! Glorious fall days and our trees are full of ripening fruit--it's going to be a great harvest this year! We are watching the olives' ripening closely, and it looks like we will be picking right around Thanksgiving. This year, we will be offering our Olio Nuovo right after millling for those of you who love this special bright green, spicy, peppery oil. Happy 50th Birthday to Manuel Martinez—The Best Ranch Manager Ever! 💕 Manuel tends our olive trees and irrigation, feeds our goats & chickens, fixes anything that breaks, and is an all around wonderful person. We’re so lucky to have him!

It’s that glorious time of year again! Harvest at Spanish Oaks Ranch will be next Tuesday. We’ve lost some olives to a few frosty nights, but the wait for perfect ripeness before harvesting is worth it. It’s how we produce superior extra virgin olive oil year after year.
