Central Coast Nut Butter Company started when I got tired of eating the rather plain almond butter and over-sweetened sunflower seed butter that were available in the markets. I started to make my own nut butters at home, and discovered that other nuts made for some killer butter, and were a great substitute for dessert when I added flavors and spices. After whipping up a particularly successful

batch of cinnamon walnut butter, I decided that I HAD to start selling the stuff! It tasted like an oatmeal cookie, with this lovely creamy texture, but it was sweetened with stevia, full of protein and healthy fats, and grain-free. After a flurry of developing recipes and taste-testing (YUM), Central Coast Nut Butter Company was born. Try some on grain-free bread, sliced pears, or celery, or just stick a spoon in the jar and go to town.
