It might be a federal holiday but we’re farmers so that means that we’re still working and open today! 👩🏻‍🌾The apple c***r slushie machine is running, our Happy Acres family activity area is all set up and ready for you and your family to play and explore and we have thousands of pumpkins to choose from.
Our October hours are:
•Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 10am-5pm
•Friday, Saturday & Sunday 10am-6pm
•We’re only closed on Wednesdays

🍂Our farm is all dressed up and ready for fall!🍂
Becky and I (Mandy:) spent this last week getting all our bins, benches, baskets, and buckets filled to the brim with beautiful fall color. If you’re looking for the largest variety of pumpkins, gourds, and winter squash, here on the central coast, we’ve got you covered! We also have corn shocks and wheat bundles available to add to your fall decor. Come fill a wagon this weekend to take home some of your own fall fun!

Check out this beautiful little hummingbird getting a little snack from our U-Pick Zinnias. 🌸
Mother Nature sure has been keeping us warm this last week but cooler weather is supposed to be here starting tomorrow, yay! While some of our U-Pick crops enjoy this late season heat, others not so much (we’re looking at you summer squash and cucumbers.) Because of the weather this is looking to be our last week picking both summer squash and cucumbers. All the other summer veggies and flowers are still going strong. Come on out, grab a cold c***r slushie, pick some fresh produce and take home one (or more;) of our beautiful pumpkins while you’re here.

It’s going to be another hot one today! Come cool off with an ice cold Apple and Cherry C***r Slushie. Browse our bountiful pumpkin selection under the shade cover. Then cool off inside our air conditioned farm store and check out all our other goodies.

It’s looking to be a warm start to October! ☀️
We spent the afternoon yesterday pulling out all the shade cloth and white sheets we have to cover our pumpkin displays. (Hopefully this will keep them from becoming premature pumpkin pie!😉) We’ll definitely have our pure fruit juice Apple and Cherry C***r Slushie machine up and running every day we’re open. They are the perfect treat to keep you cool while you browse and enjoy our beautiful pumpkin selection.
Starting tomorrow (October 1st) we’ll be open every day but Wednesday for the entire month.

So many pumpkins!!!🎃
We’re beyond excited to share this year’s bountiful harvest with you all. Our displays are filled to the brim with over 140 varieties of pumpkins, gourds and winter squash. We’d like to think that great-great-grandpa Miles would be proud to see how far we’ve come from him growing and selling pumpkins starting back in the 1950’s. Now his great-great-grandson (the littlest farmer) is helping right along side his great-granddaughters (Becky & Mandy) and grandson (Tim) continuing the family’s tradition, legacy and heritage. We’re so grateful for what he started so many years ago and for the blessing that it is to our family as well as all those of you who have visited (and supported us) for generations as well.
We’re continuing with our regular hours for this one last weekend in September: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10am - 5pm each day. We’ll then switch to our October hours one week from today and be open six days a week for the entire month. Starting October 1st we’ll be open: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10-5 and Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10-6, we’ll only be closed on Wednesday.
Our farm is located at 5000 Highway 46 West. We are just about a mile west of the 46W and Vineyard Drive roundabout and only a short distance outside of Paso Robles & Templeton.

Autumn leaves and pumpkins please! 🍂🎃🍁
Today’s foggy morning has us feeling like fall is on its way. We’re open this weekend with the first pumpkins of the season with plans to harvest even more of our over 140 varieties in the coming weeks!
We’ll continue with our regular hours (Fri, Sat and Sun 10am - 5pm each day) for the rest of September, that way we can keep harvesting and displaying pumpkins on the days we’re closed. We’ll then switch our hours on October 1st to being open more days and longer days and longer hours. For the month of October we’ll be open: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10-5 and Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10-6, we’ll only be closed on Wednesday.

Today was our first day picking pumpkins for our 2026 season! 🎃 We’re so happy with how the fields are looking and excited to share their bounty with you all. Today we harvested cute little orange pumpkins, tall Jack-O-Lanterns, adorable Mac-N-Cheese, beautiful green stripped ones, warty mustard yellow gourds, bumpy, smooth, ribbed and everything in between. You would have laughed to hear us two girls out there… “Hey look at this one!” “Oh my goodness check out this curved stem!” “Isn’t this color beautiful?!?!” and then there was the littlest farmer “This one is coming home with me!!!” We’re thinking that loving pumpkins is definitely in his blood. 🧡
We’ll continue with our regular hours (Fri, Sat and Sun 10am - 5pm each day) for the rest of September, that way we can keep harvesting and displaying pumpkins on the days we’re closed. We’ll then switch our hours on October 1st to being open more days and longer hours. 🍏🍎🍏🍎This week is all about U-Pick Apples!🍎🍏🍎🍏
Starting today we’ll have six different varieties available for picking. This warm weather has made many of our normally later season apples ripen early. We’re not complaining though because that just means we get to enjoy them sooner! Be sure you check with us ladies inside the farm store before heading out to the fields and orchards so we can fill you in on how picking works. We want to be sure you only pick what’s ripe and tasty! 😋
