Buy local, meet your farmers & bakers, enjoy live music, and have the best time!! We’ll see you next Saturday through October!! 🔥 Season Open 2026 was one for the books! ✨9am-1pm✨

Not only does she volunteer like crazy, she’s also pivotal to Boys & Girls Club of the Bemidji Area and serves on the board of Paul Bunyan Playhouse 🎭🎨 and that doesn’t even cover all she does for Village of Hope: Ours To Serve House of Hospitality!

The annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is THIS SATURDAY, May 9!

Sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers and the United Way of Bemidji Area, the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive will benefit the Bemidji Community Food Shelf.

Simply leave a sturdy bag containing non-perishable, non-expired canned or boxed items next to your mailbox prior to the time of regular mail delivery on Saturday, May 9. Bemidji letter carriers will collect the donations and deliver them to the Bemidji Community Food Shelf.

We are in need of the following items:
- Baby food
- Peanut butter
- Soups
- Cereals
- Laundry soap
- Dish soap
- Deodorant
- Personal care items and such soap, shampoo, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products

Donated items should be in non-breakable containers, such as boxes and cans.

Thank you to our amazing letter carriers, the United Way, and the entire Bemidji community!

🐝 Simone Senogles Fund 🐝

Simone’s impact was as personal as it was global. She was a steady presence, a protector, and a leader who demonstrated the critical importance of showing up when your people need you.

Simone's family asks those who loved her to honor her memory by carrying forward the work she championed: Protecting Mother Earth, Defending Indigenous Rights, and nurturing community above all else. In the spirit of Simone in her artistic and organizing work we are supporting a grant in her honor.

A scholarship award of $1,500 to a student who is a graduate of Red Lake Nation College who will continue their education at Bemidji State University

A grant of $1,500 award for grassroots community work in any of the following areas – traditional food systems, Indigenous women, and Environmental and/or Climate justice.

A grant of $1,500 award for work in revitalizing and preserving traditional arts

These awards will be given in August 2026. For information on contributions to the fund and for information on applying for the grants, please email [email protected]
