Very late on posting but I found time to wean, vaccinate, and turn out the British White and Simmental calves. They have been coming great to the feed bucket every time I go into the field. I will have one small British White heifer for sale if someone would be interested. I also have a Hereford cross heifer I would let go for the right price.

Finally got done chopping tonight and got the bag closed up. This bag went way smoother than the last. I was able to chop 9 loads in 4 1/2 hours!

1 bag down, 1 bag to go. Hopefully things run smoother now!

First time chopping corn for myself. I’m very excited to see how it feeds this winter to my beefs and replacement heifers. It’s going to be one big experiment!

Having a group of cows that beats you to the corral is one of the best accomplishments in my book!

Today was beef weigh day. I am very happy with how these calves have been doing. They are getting roughly 10-12 pounds of grain per day, per calf and all the second-cutting hay they can eat. If anyone wants to fill their freezer this fall, please don't hesitate to reach out! I am happy to answer any questions anyone may have.
