Have you been thinking about buying a half or whole beef but haven’t quite made the decision? Here is something to think about!
I just received half a beef today from the processor. I needed steaks and burger, so that is what i had cut, no roasts. I added up all of the costs that I would charge, and the total came out to $1600. Remember, that is just steaks, ground beef, liver, and extra fat. That cost would be more if roasts were made out of burger. Currently, I am charging $1400 for a half. That doesn’t include processing. So if you’ve been on the fence about buying a half or whole, this may be the deciding factor! Please message me soon if you would like to get on the list for this fall. I will also have some ready in the spring of 2027! Also, the freezer is restocked so feel free to reach out if you’re needing to stock up!

Are any young folks looking for a feeder calf or prospect steer for the upcoming festivals or even next year’s festivals? I have some great looking calves that I believe are show ring worthy! I snagged some pictures of two tonight, but I believe there are 2-3 more in the same field that could also hit the ring. I also have a couple British Whites that I would be willing to let go. I may even know a buyer who would at least guarantee market price at the fair! Priced at market price, no price gouging here! Feel free to share! Please message me with any questions at all! Hereford bull for sale!
3yr old Hereford bull for sale. Not a thing wrong with him, I’ve just decided to switch to Simmental and keep some of his daughters. Today was beef weigh day. I am very happy with how these calves have been doing. They are getting roughly 10-12 pounds of grain per day, per calf and all the second-cutting hay they can eat. If anyone wants to fill their freezer this fall, please don't hesitate to reach out! I am happy to answer any questions anyone may have.

Anyone needing some breakfast for the upcoming 4th of July weekend? I have plenty of eggs available! $3/dozen for regular sized eggs and $2 a dozen for pullet eggs (smaller but tastier)! If you like sausage or bacon to go with your eggs, I have that too! Needing some steaks or burgers to throw on the grill? I have almost all steaks in stock and burger!

Someone did not get the memo that Artificial Insemination was supposed to start next week. Although Cidrs will go in on Monday, #180 decided to come in heat today so I went ahead and AIed her on natural heat. I hope she takes! If so, the first calf will hit the ground within the first few days of March!
