📢 POSSIBLE UPCOMING HOURS CHANGE

We wanted to give everyone a heads-up that we may soon be making a small change to our restaurant hours!

As our business continues to grow and new opportunities come our way, we sometimes have to make adjustments that allow us to take advantage of those opportunities while still being here to serve all of you. ❤️

Our possible updated hours would be:

Monday: 11 AM – 9 PM
Tuesday: 3:30 PM – 9 PM
Wednesday: 11 AM – 9 PM
Thursday: 3:30 PM – 9 PM
Friday: 11 AM – 9 PM
Saturday: 11 AM – 9 PM (for now)
Sunday: Closed

As of right now, the only changes we are looking at are Tuesdays and Thursdays, opening at 3:30 PM instead of 11 AM. Saturdays may possibly change in the future as well, but for now they will remain the same.

⚠️ These new hours could begin as soon as this Tuesday, September 1st. We will keep everyone posted with updates as soon as everything is confirmed!

We are extremely thankful for the new opportunities coming our way and for everyone who continues to support Lucia’s Taqueria. ❤️ These opportunities allow us to continue growing and moving our small business forward.

Good news! Lucia’s Taqueria WILL be opening today, Saturday, August 29! 🎉

We will be opening a little later than our normal hours today as we get everything ready to go.

We don’t have an exact opening time just yet, but we will keep everyone posted right here on our page as soon as we’re ready to open!

📢 RESTAURANT UPDATE — CLOSED TODAY

We wanted to give everyone an update for today, Friday, August 28.

We had originally planned on possibly opening the restaurant back up for dinner this evening, but unfortunately, we will not be able to open the restaurant today.

We are currently out at the Scheid Diesel Extravaganza at the Vigo County Fairgrounds, where we’ll be serving from our food truck for the rest of the day! 🌮

We’ll also be back out at Scheid ALL DAY tomorrow, Saturday, August 29!

We will have an update on the restaurant for tomorrow, so please keep an eye on our page for that announcement.

We apologize for any inconvenience and truly appreciate everyone’s understanding and support while we work this big event! ❤️

Tomorrow, Friday, August 28, Lucia’s Taqueria restaurant will be CLOSED during the day as we take our food truck out to the Scheid Diesel Extravaganza 2026 at the Vigo County Fairgrounds! 🌮🚚🏁

We are hoping to possibly OPEN for DINNER tomorrow evening, so please keep an eye on our page for updates. We’ll post as soon as we know for sure!

Our FOOD TRUCK will be at the Scheid Diesel Extravaganza ALL DAY Friday AND Saturday! If you’re headed out to the event, come find us and grab your Lucia’s favorites! 🌮🌯

Sometimes one of the hardest lessons in business is learning that having a good heart doesn’t always mean things will end the way you hoped. 💔

We recently tried to help someone because we genuinely cared, trusted them, and wanted to see them succeed. We went into the situation with good intentions and never imagined we would be the ones left trying to pick up the pieces in the end.

As a small family-owned business, losses don’t just disappear. They affect our family, our plans, our events, and everything we work so hard for every single day. That is probably the part that hurts the most—knowing that we tried to do something good for someone, and somehow we ended up taking the loss.

We aren’t sharing this to tear anyone down, name anyone, or ask anyone to choose sides. We’re sharing it because small business ownership comes with lessons that people don’t always see behind the scenes.

We will continue to help people. We will continue to have good hearts. But we’ve also learned that we have to protect what our family has worked so hard to build.

Most importantly, we’re giving this situation to God. He knows our hearts, He knows the entire story, and He knows what we’ve put into building Lucia’s. We trust that what feels like a loss today will not stop what He has planned for us. 🙏❤️
