Klisse's Kids Dairy Goats

Klisse's Kids Dairy Goats Home of National Champion Sable Dairy Goats. This page will have the most recent updates about my farm and animals for sale.

**PLEASE see my website for more details about purchasing**
Klisse's Kids is the home to National Champion Sable Dairy Goats (as well as a few Saanen, Alpines, and RG). Most of our older animals are American, with our younger Sables having a higher incidence of being purebred. If you are interested in the purebred, please ask. We have been both Premier Breeder of Show and Runner-Up Breeder of Nati

onal Show numerous consecutive years all at the national level. Our doe, SGCH Klisse’s GSMS Triumph of Hope 3*M was 4x National Champion and made several Top Ten lactations, with a mind blowing 50 Best In Show wins to her name! Although she has passed on, she has made a great contribution to both the Sable and LaMancha breeds – all of the Sables with the suffix “of Hope’ are her offspring in some manner. We do practice CAE prevention with heat-treated colostrum, and are CL free. The kids are all pulled from the does at birth and raised on powdered colostrum, pasteurized milk, free choice, The does are fed a high quality alfalfa (feed value 180+) and a rolled barley/sweet grain mix. We feed a Sweetlix mineral that is formulated for supplementing with legume hay. We give Bo-Se shots twice a year and copper boluses annually, along with twice yearly Covexin 8 and J-Vac vaccinations. We do annual sessions of linear appraisal and have been on milk test/DHIR for over 20 years now, with many Top Ten lactations, and most of the mature does and bucks LA 89+.

It's now official!!! Our Spotlight consignment this year is Klisse's KBFB Holly, out of none other than......GCH Klisse's NSNN Baylee 3*M, '25 National Champion/Best Udder, LA 93, and *B Klisse's KJ Blue Footed B***y, who is out of GCH Klisse's SSCS Starling and *B Klisse's KCA Jace (full bro to GCH Klisse's KCA Natalie, '22 Reserve National Champion/Best Udder). While B***y is a young buck, we do have a lovely paternal sister in the herd, Klisse's KJ Clarinet of Hope, who will be at the Hoosier Classic for her coming out party, along with Holly's maternal sister, Klisse's NSNN Gracie!
She is a triplet, and all three are long, dairy and very level. She is also already DNA verified to both parents, and was born the end of April. Come and celebrate Christmas in July at the national show with Holly!

Let me preface this post by saying that if you have already PM'ed/texted me, I have started a list and will contact you in that order. I will post the animals that are available, so feel free to look and pick out some possibilities. I will contact you when I reach your name in the list. I will also update/remove the kids as they are chosen. Also, I wasn't able to get pics of the does last year, so some have no pics at all, and all of the 2 yos look much better than last year. Thank you!

All of the yearlings had a doe (at least), and along with a few other does, I now have extra doe kids. Let me get my list and I will post pedigrees. Maybe some pics. For those of you in the Midwest and east coast, this is the last year to get kids "locally". I am planning on moving in September. Deals might be made for 2+ kids. I also have 3 buck kids from very nice pairings available (DNA included in asking price).

Ask me where we found these!!! And the plumber is coming tomorrow afternoon!!!

I am now contacting people on my wait list for kids, but somehow my laptop has completely deleted it. I though I had a printed version, but all I've found so far is an old one from 2025. I will going through emails, texts and FB messenger to find what I can. I have at least 5 does kids but want to go in order of asking/patience. Baylee is due in 2 weeks, so don't worry if you are waiting on one from her. If you want to PM me if you have already asked and I put you on the list, please do. Sorry and thanks.

Yesterday was a long day. Lady (grade) kidded with triplet bucks (boo!) right before milking time, which made 4 sets of triplets for the first 4 does to kid which was great. Then after the 9 p.m. kid feeding, Yaara decided to kid with her giant buck/doe twins. As I was finishing up with her, Gal let me know she was ready, so after a bit of finagling, she had 2 does - first was rear feet first- and a buck that needed some help. It was almost like she saw the size of Yaara's twins and said, "Hold my goat cookies!".🤣 I fed all those new kids, milked the does and tidied everything up to go into the house for a shower (already had a nice bit of j-lube in my hair) and a load of laundry. Did one last check on does, and Meira was grunting. 🙄 She had a very large single doe, but only needed a little help. Did the wash, rinse and repeat, and made it to bed by 3:45 a.m. Tbf, I left the bedroom light on so I would sack all the way out. Got up very grudgingly at 5:30 to milk and feed the millions of new kids from yesterday. Now just waiting on Joslin, Soursop, and Talitha to finish up before Cosmia is due on Saturday. I am contacting people in order of requests and reservations. If I contact you because you have a "generic" request of a show kid, please be courteous and respond in a timely manner so I can contact the next person in line with the available doe kids. Please.
