LBS Farms - Katahdins We breed Katahdin sheep in Terre Haute Indiana. We want a mid sized ewe who will lamb unassisted and raise those lambs with no problems.

We breed for parasite resistance and want a fast growing lamb ready to sell at the 80lb weight at 5 months.

Not much rain lately, we're having to start feeding hay early this year. The girls are still managing to stay in good shape. We'll put the ram in with them in a couple of weeks.

Are you looking for a new Katahdin ram? Here's a few more pictures of the boys. We're located close to Terre Haute IN

I'm curious. Just how much do you think you should you spend on a new ram for your group of ewes? Lambs this size are selling at the sale barn for around $3.00 lb, this guy should be close to 100lbs if not over.
Remember your ram is half of your flock.
What are your thoughts?

I'm trying to figure out how to post a motion picture but not having much luck.
