After seven years of enjoying retirement, Don is stepping back into the workforce to bring his signature hospitality to 12 Points Public Market. He is stepping into an interim role to support us while our manager, Kevin Pohlar, is away. Don is a familiar face around Terre Haute, having grown up here before spending 30 years living elsewhere and eventually making his way back home.
You might remember him from his years bartending at the Restaurant, where he loved engaging in fun conversation and providing great customer service. If you haven't shared a laugh with him over a drink, you might recognize his name from the iconic brick piano and music mural located downtown that he, with the generosity of donors, gifted to the city. Don thrives on interacting with people, swapping stories, and making every guest feel welcome. He is amazed at the amount of local talent in the Wabash Valley area and looks forward to hearing them perform at The Market.
