Here’s a few things that we’ve been up to. Wyatt has helped plant 12 fruit trees, he’s been helping me pick out and plant flowers, we now have an herb garden and a vegetable garden to go with our bees and goats and we aren’t even sure how many chickens we have anymore. As the summer progresses The Coop will be stocked with a variety of items made here from our little homestead. We intend to provide a variety of items and hopefully be a little unique and diversified from other neighboring farm stands.

It’s been 5 days since Wyatt’s chicks hatched. We ended up with 18 chicks from this hatch. Aren’t they adorable? They came in a variety of colors, it’s always fun to see what colors they grow into. We do enjoy hatching chicks!

Quick update..it’s been 6 days since we brought home the lil girl with wry neck. After 4 days of giving Vitamins and minerals and watering her with an eye dropper she’s now able to eat and drink on her own and has complete control of her twisted neck again.

It’s hatching day! So far we’ve got 2 light colored lil fluff balls and a few more that have pipped.

What do you do when there’s no school? First you Go Vote! Wyatt can tell you all about the politicians running from the commercials. Lol Then I took Wyatt to Rural King of course. Yes, we ended up with more chicks, a couple Turkey, and a few Guinea. They’ll go great with our chicks that are hatching tomorrow into Thursday. The one shown in the video we asked if we could take it. She has wry neck which is a mineral deficiency. She’s been given minerals and a little water from an eye dropper. Hopefully tomorrow she’ll be feeling better!
