Home made 🍋 Pink Lemonade 🍋 is so easy to make and absolutely delicious.
I will have it at the farm stand Sunday, come try it and tell me what you think 😊
Here is my recipe:
RHUBARB PINK LEMONADE
12 cups sliced rhubarb
6 lemons (zest & juice)
1 orange (optional)
1-1 1/2 cups honey or sugar (to taste)
4 cups water
Wash sliced rhubarb (1-2 inches).
Wash lemons & orange, and zest. Cut in half and juice.
Put rhubarb in a medium size pan, poor juice over top of the rhubarb, add zest, and water. Over medium heat bring to a boil, once it begins to boil turn it down to simmer and occasionally stir for 20 minutes until the rhubarb breaks down.
Remove from heat and gently mash the rhubarb and let cool for 10 minutes.  strain through cheese cloth or fine strainer for about two hours.
Add honey (or sugar) and stir until dissolved. You may need to warm it up to get it to dissolve.
This is concentrated, I add 1 part lemonade to 3 parts water.
