Well, the garden WOULD be absolutely thriving, but with a large hole in our perimeter fence, after a neighbor drove through it, hitting our boat and stopping in the neighbors yard, the deer have now figured out there is a nice buffet of veggies to choose from. They seem to favor the Pole Beans and have pretty much wiped out our Bell Peppers. They also keep taking the tops off our tomatoes, which has greatly reduced their growth. We're pretty bummed but that is how things go! 🫛

We are thankful for what we do have, and are excited for next gardening season where we will have twice the amount of room to grow and a lot more systems in place. 🫑

We couldn't be happier, though, with how the garden turned out before our deer friends visited. 🍅

Off to a good start! Can't wait for Tomatoes 🍅 and Cucumbers 🥒

Something new for us!
21 days ago we started incubating our fertilized chicken eggs in our new Nurture Right 360 incubator.
Today we're seeing the first signs of chicks starting to hatch! 4 of the 12 have small cracks in them!

The goats are here! Second batch of baby goats hit the ground yesterday around 7:00 pm! We had 3 beautiful healthy kids....

The goats are here! Second batch of baby goats hit the ground yesterday around 7:00 pm! We had 3 beautiful healthy kids. Two does and one buck. We couldn't be happier. The homestead is growing!
