Swiss Acres Weddings & Events

Swiss Acres is a rustic wedding venue located minutes from the Iowa Great Lakes. Venue: There is a Red Barn and Cedar Barn on the premises with both being included in the package. Red Barn: Seats roughly 275 people (including seating in the haymow) and serves as the primary building for receptions. There is an attached room for the caterers to set up that includes a deep freezer and cooler. Dish

and WiFi are also located in this barn. Cedar Barn: Serve as an option for indoor ceremonies. Seats roughly 250. Includes bride and groom suites, men’s and women’s restrooms, WiFi. Food: Clients are able to use the caterer of their choosing.

*Alcohol & Beverages: Clients are responsible for coordinating their own alcohol & beverages. (Important note: It is the responsibility of the clients to supervise the legal consumption of alcoholic beverages. Clients are required to purchase a $1,000,000 insurance policy for $95 or add additional coverage to your existing homeowners policy). Setup and Tear Down: 40 hand built, wooden tables and 450 chairs are included with the price of the rental. Clients are able to access the premises at noon Friday of their event and be cleaned up by noon on Sunday. Clients are required to keep beer cans and garbage separate. We donate all redeemable can and bottles to animals in need (People for Pets or the Humane Society.) A dumpster is on site for the trash. Hours: Clients are asked to start shutting the party down by 11:00 pm with everyone gone by 11:30 pm. Parking is available onsite.
