The menu included sriracha in the recipe but they must have been out so just sweet chili sauce was used… it worked really well. I could have easily thrown down two of these HOT HOT HOT rolls.

One of the most underrated pizza shops around

I’m going back to visiting the shop owners that I know and trust. I’ve known Dave since I moved to Lowell 8 years ago. Everything Brickhouse makes is BOMB. I also got a Chicken Caesar salad for work tomorrow. Best Caesar Salad I ever had from a Pizza Shop.

After trying these steak tips a few weeks back I’ve been craving them every day. These bad mamajamas easily cracked my top ten list for steak tips in New England.

Village Inn sells out of prime rib every day since that’s what they’re known for… but when you pull up in their enormous parking lot, it’s these steak tips that you’re smelling throughout the day.

Solid 9/10 on these Steak Tips

Price can’t be beat either
$25.99 and they come with two sides
I like pairing them with carrots and mashed

Their Detroit Style Pizza is a total flavor bomb. A Detroit style as many already know is a Sicilian Style pizza with the sauce on top of the cheese, usually accompanied with a cheesy baked edge.

I got the Pepperoni. It had cup and char roni with grated cheese baked right in to the roni cups. Crisp cheesy edges. The sauce had nice flavor and tang. More shredded on top of the sauce. Chef’s kiss. Everyone went for the 4 corner pieces first. Both my boys were impressed and were nodding their heads while eating. The wife wasn’t as impressed. Awesome pizza box BTW.

The chicken sliders were awesome… both quality and quantity. They were big enough to cut in half so everyone got to try them. No shortage of sauce, cheese or pickles. Potato buns were on point. I got the hot sliders. The hot wasn’t too hot. Next time I will try the su***de. I can do the Reaper from Dave’s with little to no repercussions 🥵 These were wayyy better than Dave’s FYI. .

Next time I will stop in on a Wednesday and introduce myself instead of ordering Uber Eats with my feet up on the recliner. They have one dollar wings on Wednesday and I would love some su***de wings if that’s possible.

In a nutshell, I think this place is the greatest thing to happen to the Lowell food scene in a long ass time. I highly recommend checking them out. I can’t wait for another Detroit Style from Maq’s.
