I saw the Mikey P. Review so I decided to swing in for a Crunch Smash Burger with sweet potato fries. The crunch smash burger hit all the right spots 🎯 Here is the description from their online menu: “5 Oz beef, seasoned and smashed to perfection. Topped with fried pickles, pepper jack cheese and bacon, drizzled with chipotle ranch sauce. Served with lettuce, and onion on a brioche bun.” Adding fries is an additional $3 and adding specialty fries is $4. Crunch Smash Burger with Sweet Potato Fries was $18.18 including tax.

Right away on the first bite I got crunch from the fried pickles and the griddle on the bun was buttery and crisp. That’s a crucial factor that some burger joints miss. If the bun has no griddle then what’s the point 🤷🏻‍♂️The Pepper Jack Cheese had Pull. Bacon makes EVERYTHING better 🥓 The Chipotle Ranch Drizzle on top worked really well. Lettuce and Red Onion on the bottom 👌🏼

The Crunch Smash Burger was AMAZING 🤩

The sweet potato fries were very good… they come with Cinnamon, Chipotle Rub and Mike’s Hot Honey… I didn’t pick up much cinnamon TBH. The Chipotle Rub complimented the Chipotle Ranch Drizzle on my burger, so it was a good pairing. There was plenty of Hot Honey. I would get them again only I would ask for a sprinkle of cinnamon on top of everything. Greeks love cinnamon and honey together 🍯🇬🇷

I also brought a “crock” of homemade chili home to share with the wife. Price was $9.99 for 16oz. We both thought it was outstanding chili. It comes with garlic bread on the side 🥖🧄 If you order the chili in house they serve it in a crock with melted cheese on top. My takeout Chili also had melted cheese on top.

🍔 Solid 9/10 on both the Crunch Burger and the pint of Chili.

🍠 8.5/10 on the Sweet Potato Fries.

This could be the best Chicken Piccata in existence. Homemade angel hair pasta (thin noodles), homemade fettuccine (wide noodles), and homemade gnocchi are all some of the options… I usually roll with the gnocchi.

I know what some of you might be thinking… it’s not a piccata if there are no capers.

Go pound sand.

It’s a 10/10.

Capers are also available upon request.
Personally, I refuse to mess with perfection.

This might just be the greatest IPA ever brewed.

For me, it’s a toss up between Swish and Focal Banger by Alchemist (VT). Next time Focal comes around I’m gonna stock up. Got a few Heady Toppers left in the fridge.

This Gyro, pronounced “Yeero” was exceptional

Perfectly grilled pita that held up great

Tzatziki on the top and bottom (I asked for xtra)

Tomato and Onion on the bottom (sliced)

French fries on top

The flavor of the pork was PHENOMENAL

The Tzatziki had a nice hit of lemon

This was an Absolute Banger of a Super from the Mecca. I placed an online order for a delivery and they were at my front door in less than 20 minutes.

9/12/2026 will go down as one of the greatest events, if not the greatest event in North Shore Beef history. The first North Shore Beef Slider eating competition was held at Game On Fenway. The event was governed and organized by Major League Eating (MLE) who also organizes/governs the Nathan’s Hot Dog eating contest. One of the Sponsors was Sam Adams. It was epic. Hope you all enjoy the video.

Another Thursday night, Another Lamb Shank dinner in the books at Chelbys Food and Drink in Manchester, NH. If you didn’t know, Chelby’s is a restaurant that has been around for over 50 years. The new owners have done a great job with the place. I haven’t tried the pizza yet but it looks phenomenal. Why haven’t I tried the pizza? Because every Thursday night is Greek Night 🇬🇷🕺🏻💃🏽🥳

I met an old colleague from work here and his wonderful family. We had a blast! We also got the last two lamb shanks in the house. It was like divine intervention, only it wasn’t Jesus… it was the owner, Loukas 😂 Yup place was so busy the last two lamb shank dinners were sold before 7pm. FIEST YOUR EYES 🍖 👀

The restaurant was packed. Both the food and service was outstanding. Very nice folks sitting to the left and right of us. I really feel at home here. Chelby’s is the best!!

Did I mention that the pizza looks amazing? I’m making a separate trip just for the pizza this weekend… I’m gonna order a hamburger onion pizza IYKYK
