• Fresh-Milled Sourdough Cinnamon Roll Focaccia
Made with our fresh-milled starter Doctor Doughlittle — soft, swirled, and cinnamon-sweet like a cinnamon roll in focaccia form.

Fresh milled einkorn flour, grass-fed butter browned until it smells like caramel, and a handful of Enjoy Life chocolate chips folded in so they stay simple and allergen-friendly for anyone needing that—no soy, no dairy, no nuts. Just real chocolate and real ingredients.

Finished with a pinch of flaky French Celtic sea salt on top, because that little contrast of sweet and salty never gets old.

Soft centers, golden edges, and that kind of cookie that disappears while they’re still warm on the tray.

Homemade berry bars cooling on the counter today

Buttery shortbread made with grass-fed butter, a blend of fresh milled flours, homemade organic blueberry + raspberry jam, and a golden crumble on top.

One of my favorite parts of baking at home is how ordinary moments become memories — little hands reaching for snacks , flour everywhere, and loud chaos in the background!

Simple ingredients. Slow days. Homemade goodness

At Brook & Rye Morning Rise, ingredients matter.
We don’t cut corners—we go straight from scratch.

Our sourdough starter is alive and thriving (sometimes a little too much… he’s already climbing out of his jar this morning!).
Peanuts? We shell them by hand to make our peanut butter mix-ins pure and fresh.
Vanilla? We make our own extract from whole beans—aged for over a year right here in our kitchen. Not for sale, but for baking—because the best treats start with the best ingredients.

All products are dye free, seed oil free, baked in 304 stainless or cast iron bakeware, unbleached parchment paper

That’s what makes it extra special: every cookie, loaf, and treat is made with care, quality, and the best ingredients we can source. We only use organic, homemade, Grass-fed, or locally sourced ingredients . Stuff I feel confident feeing my family.

We’ll see you Friday at The Stained page
for our Labor Day Weekend Pop-Up! Bring your sweet tooth, because everything tastes better when it’s truly homemade.

Fresh sourdough coming out of the kitchen

Just a little reminder that homemade bread is a little different than grocery store bread. I use quality ingredients, take the time to make things from scratch, and sourdough definitely isn’t a “throw it together quick” kind of bake

Fresh milled flour is available by request, and while it costs a little more, it’s because the ingredients and process cost more too. I’ll always do my best to keep prices fair while still making food I feel good feeding my own family.
