Exciting news for the future of the Fulton Fish Market!
We’re proud to see the Market featured on NBC New York following a $25 million investment from the New York City Council to support the modernization of our facility.
For generations, the Fulton Fish Market has been an essential part of New York City’s food system and seafood industry. This investment will help us build on that legacy by strengthening the infrastructure that supports our merchants, customers and community while preparing the Market for the future.
We’re grateful to City Council Speaker Julie Menin, Councilmember Sanchez, Councilmember Farias and the entire New York City Council, Nicole and the Fulton Fish Market Cooperative team, The Point CDC, Barretto Bay Strategies, and everyone who continues to recognize the importance of investing in this historic institution and the people who keep it moving every day.
