If only you could smell this.....Pecan Danish to jump-start the weekend.
Quick and easy to make.
You’ll need puff pastry dough (preferably a brand that’s all butter - no oils, no long ingredient list...your tastebuds will thank you 😊)

Here’s the best part: the filling!
1/2 c brown sugar
3 tbsp melted butter
1/2 c pecans, chopped and lightly toasted
big pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Mix it all together and spread over the dough, braid the dough and brush with egg wash.
Bake at 375⁰F for 15 minutes and let cool. Ice it if you like and toss more pecans on top.

Best served slightly warm with coffee.....or ice cream 💛

Upside-Down Zucchini & Stracciatella Tart from

You layer a pie plate with honey balsamic vinaigrette, pine nuts & sliced zukes, then cover it with store-bought puff pastry (I used the gluten free ). Then you bake, cool, flip, top with stracciatella & basil, and devour. 😋

My kids picked everything off and ate the crust, which they said was really good. 🙄 I of course ate it ALL and thought it was absolutely dynamite. 🧨 Recipe can be found in You Got This or on Diane’s grid from August 2025.
