Decadent Slow-Cooked Herbed Chicken & Gravy
Recipe
Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 packet dry chicken gravy mix
1 cup water
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Directions:

Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, water, garlic powder, black pepper, and thyme until well combined.
Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Just before serving, stir in sour cream and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Serve hot, ideally with a side of mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.

Ingredients:

1½ pounds broccoli florets
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature, cut into cubes
¼ cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt, to taste
¼ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Crushed red pepper flakes, optional for garnish
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350˚F and grease a 2.5-3 quart baking dish.
Boil 1/2 inch of salted water in a large skillet. Add broccoli and cook covered over high heat until crisp-tender, about 3-4 minutes. Drain and transfer to the baking dish.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, Parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Pour the cheese mixture over the broccoli, mixing to coat.
Bake for 17-20 minutes until bubbly and lightly browned on top.
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with red pepper flakes.

3 pounds baby red potatoes, quartered
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 packet ranch dressing mix
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:

Place the quartered potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and let cool.
In a large bowl, mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, and ranch dressing mix.
Add the cooled potatoes to the bowl with the ranch mixture. Add crumbled bacon and green onions.
Gently mix everything together until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.

8 slices bacon
5 large green onions, finely chopped
3 lbs russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup butter
1/3-1/2 cup milk (adjust for desired consistency)
2 cups smoked gouda, grated
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F and butter a 9x13 baking dish.

Cook the bacon until crisp, then transfer to paper towels to drain. Chop and mix with green onions.

Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes, then drain.

Mash potatoes with sour cream, butter, and milk until smooth. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of gouda and half the bacon-onion mix. Season with salt and pepper.

Spread the mixture in the prepared dish, top with the remaining gouda, and bake for about 30 minutes until golden and bubbling. Garnish with the rest of the bacon-onion mix before serving.

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups buttermilk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinnamon Swirl:
1/2 cup melted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Cream Cheese Glaze:
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3-4 tablespoons milk
Directions:

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, beat together buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
For the cinnamon swirl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
Pour this mixture into a ziplock bag and cut a small hole in the corner.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and pour in about 1/4 cup batter for each pancake.
Squeeze the cinnamon filling in a swirl pattern onto the pancake while it cooks.
Flip carefully and cook until both sides are golden brown.
For the glaze, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk, adjusting for desired consistency.

1/4 cup granulated sugar
For the Filling:

4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
For the Berry Topping:

2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp cornstarch dissolved in 2 tbsp water
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract and sour cream.
Pour the filling over the cooled crust. Bake for 50 minutes, or until the center is set. Cool on a wire rack, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
For the topping, combine berries, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook until the berries release their juices. Add the cornstarch mixture, and stir until thickened. Cool completely.

2 cups shredded carrots
1/4 cup pecans, chopped (optional)
Cream Cheese Filling:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
6 tablespoons butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 10x15 inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, beat eggs and granulated sugar until thick and creamy. Blend in oil, vanilla, salt, baking powder, ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
Fold in flour, shredded carrots, and pecans. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the top springs back when touched. Immediately turn out onto a powdered sugar-dusted towel. Peel off paper and roll cake up with the towel. Cool completely.
Unroll cake, spread cream cheese filling evenly over the cake, and re-roll without the towel. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.

1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the cheesecake filling:
24 oz (3 packages) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp lemon zest
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 large eggs
For the blueberry topping:
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup water
Directions:

Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Line the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper and grease the sides.
Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and flour on low speed until combined and smooth. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
Add the sour cream, heavy cream, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Mix on low speed until well combined.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed and scraping down the sides of the bowl after each addition.
Pour the filling into the crust and spread evenly. Bake for 70-80 minutes or until the center is set and only slightly jiggly.
Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door closed for 30 minutes. Crack the oven door and leave the cheesecake inside for another 30 minutes.
Remove the cheesecake from the oven and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
For the blueberry topping, combine blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and the blueberries begin to break down, about 10 minutes. Let cool before spreading over the chilled cheesecake.

Luxurious Pecan Pie Cheesecake Fusion

Ingredients:

1 and 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup + 1 tablespoon sugar, divided
3 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 and 1/2 cups chopped pecans
1/4 cup heavy cream
Directions:

Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in sour cream.
Pour half of the cheesecake mixture over crust. Sprinkle with half of the brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pecans. Pour remaining cheesecake mixture over the top.
Bake for 55-60 minutes or until center is almost set. Let cool for 10 minutes. Combine remaining brown sugar, cinnamon, pecans, and heavy cream in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes.
Pour pecan topping over cheesecake. Refrigerate overnight.

1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream
2 cups peeled and chopped apples
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup store-bought or homemade caramel sauce
Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with sour cream, starting and ending with the flour mixture. Fold in the chopped apples and pecans.

Directions:

Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, packing it down firmly. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
Filling: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth and creamy. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream and granulated sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until fully incorporated.

Ingredients:

1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Add eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin).
Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes in the pans, then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
