Sandoz Farm Real Food, Rooted in Tradition
Since 1880, Sandoz Farm has been growing and crafting honest, local food. Sandoz Farm was established in 1880.

From meats to seasonal produce and small-batch goods, everything we make is done with care—nourishing our community one season at a time. The Sandoz Family came to the Mill Creek Valley to grow fruit and vegetables. As the generations came along the farming techniques and practices changed, but the products are much the same. The current Sandoz Family members also raise beef and pork. The Sandoz

Farm Produce Stand is located at 5755 Mill Creek Road in The Dalles, Oregon. We sell USDA Beef & Pork, Garden Vegetables, Fruit and home canned goods. Our Stand hours are......MAY 1-NOVEMBER 1:Thurs-Sun: 11am-4pm. Winter Hours are November 1-May 1 Friday and Saturday 11am-4pm

Our family members are Ted, Holly and Theo, Larry and Mary, Kathy and Kali. We all have our specific jobs and expertise yet come together as a family to keep our farm healthy and functioning. Our cattle graze the hillsides in the spring and early summer and the bottom land into the Fall after we have taken our winter supply of hay from the fields. Our pigs love the freedom of both an indoor and outdoor facility complete with a good roll in the mud during the summer months. Our sows have a farrowing facility that gives warmth when needed and freedom of movement to take care of their babies. Our seasonal vegetables and fruits are a delight to have and our certified kitchen allows us to bring delicious pickled vegetables, canned fruits and homemade jams. We welcome you to our farm and always love a good visit.

It is Saturday! Time to shop for local foods!

Sandoz Farm will be at The Dalles Farmers Market from 9am-1pm and the Farmstand on Mill Creek is open 11am-4pm.

USDA Beef and Pork, yep we picked up some beef from the butcher yesterday.

Today at the Farmers Market we will have a large srlection of fresh apples, pears, grapes and peaches. Grab some fresh fruit for the kiddos as they start school this week and will need a good after-school snack.

Picked a huge pan of hot peppers, enjoy a food with a kick this week.

Well folks, the Mill Creek Pumpkin Patch at Sandoz Farm has entered stage 1 of gearing up for your pumpkin fun season in October.

The 3rd cutting of hay happened and that is the beginning.
Note: the Pumpkin Festival day will be October 17, 2026. The pumpkin patch opens in October.

We’re excited to share that McLaughlin Events will be coordinating a longtime holiday tradition at Mill Creek Hall this year — now the Mill Creek Holiday Makers Market !

For many years, local makers and the community have gathered at Mill Creek Hall for this special November market. We’re honored to take the reins this year, continue what so many people have enjoyed over the years, and bring our own touch to its next chapter.

And now we’re looking for makers!

We’re looking for a great mix of unique, handcrafted goods from makers in The Dalles and throughout the Gorge. We want this to be the kind of market where you can wander the Hall and find things you haven’t seen everywhere else — beautiful, useful, creative, locally made gifts for the holiday season.

We’ll be working hard to get the word out, too, with boosted advertising, local flyers, vendor features, and promotion throughout the Gorge leading up to the market.

November 7 & 8 | 9am–4pm
Mill Creek Hall | 6290 Mill Creek Road, The Dalles

The Mill Creek Development Club will be serving lunch during the weekend, with proceeds supporting continued renovations to the historic Hall.
