There have been a lot of firsts this year. Mainly that for the first time ever Chery Canyon Goats had a Dairy Herd, for those who don't know that is a group of four goats of the same breed owned and bred by an exhibitor. That was a huge achievement for us. On top of that Laura recieved Premier Breeder for Recorded Grades. We arr headed in the right direction with our herd and the work is paying off. So proud.

Showing has concluded for us for the year. Goats did well. Most filled their udder, one did not *we're looking at you Romper* but over all happy with where the goats were placed and happy in the direction we are heading in our breeding program. Didn't gwt any pictures of the recorded grades as my photographer had to help show that day. Photo credit goes to Sydney. Thank you for your help!

Cady and Laura taking a moment this morning. This was supposed to be at the Wasco County Fair. But due to the Grasshopper Fire the fair has been postponed. For the first time since Cherry Canyon Goats became a herd they will not be shown at the Wasco County Fair, while we are disappointed, we as superintendents for both 4h and open class stand behind the decision made by the fair board and look forward to 2027.

Cherry Canyon Goats Camisol. VGGV 84.

Cami is a 2 year old 2nd freshener. She is still fairly young and has a couple years of growing still to do. We are pleased with how she is currently producing and can't wait to see how she continues to grow.

Cherry Canyon Goats Romper. VGGG 83.

Romper is a 2 year old second freshener. She has a bit of maturing to do still, but she is probably our sweetest goat.

Cherry Canyon Goats Fritz (Sinckle-fritz was too long for our registration). Fritz is a yearling and overall we are happy with how all of our goats scored this year.

With a score of GVVG 83 she has a little bit of maturing to do. There are some concerns of how different her fore-udder is on each side, but she like every "keeper" doe gets a couple of years to mature. Again, still pretty pleased with my home grown does.
