A Final Update from Chef Brian and Lynn.

We are officially closing Chef Brian’s Bistro To-Go after three wonderful years of serving our neighbors here in The Villages.

During that time, we met so many great people and truly enjoyed providing affordable, chef-prepared meals and desserts to our community. Along the way, we served approximately 6,900 meals and 1,200 desserts. Some entrées were so popular they never left the menu. Enchiladas and the BBQ plate were there from the beginning and stuck around the whole time. The salmon dinner almost made the permanent list too, until we debuted salmon cakes toward the end. Our Italian dishes did very well as we rotated between lasagna and meaty baked ziti. Once Chicken Parmesan appeared on the menu, it was a top-seller. And of course, we made a whole lot of macaroni and cheese.

When it came to desserts, coconut cake was the clear favorite, followed by cheesecakes and carrot cake.

Over the three years we offered:
• 60 entrées
• 21 sides
• 11 desserts
• 9 soups

Thank you to everyone who supported Chef Brian’s Bistro, shared a meal with us and helped make these last three years so enjoyable. It has truly been our pleasure to cook for you!

Now we are ready to enjoy retirement and maybe even let someone else do the cooking for a change 😊

Chef Brian’s Bistro is on its final two weeks in business. We have really enjoyed serving our friends and neighbors for the last three years. The business had reached a crossroad where we would have had to find a larger facility and hire employees to continue our service. We never expected this would happen as it was always meant to be a part-time venture for a Chef who simply loves to cook.

If you would like to get a delivery, please place your order by Friday evening for delivery next Tuesday, March 3. The final delivery will be on Tuesday, March 10.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
After three wonderful years, the time has come for Chef Brian to hang up his apron. He has made the decision to close Chef Brian’s Bistro effective March 10. We are incredibly grateful for the support and loyalty of our amazing customers and have truly enjoyed serving our Village’s community.

We will continue deliveries on February 17 and 24 as well as March 3 and our final delivery on March 10. Please note that there are menu changes effective for the delivery on February 17.

We had our first week of deliveries from the new menu and we are getting excellent feedback!

Evidently you do like desserts, but you like them in a smaller size. The pineapple upside down cake was definitely very popular this week. Actually, many you tried the new entrees and soup as well. We hope you enjoyed it all! Don’t forget that the tomato basil bisque is absolutely amazing with a grilled cheese or tuna melt on these cold days.

LOTS OF MENU CHANGES STARTING WITH DELIVERIES ON JANUARY 27.

Going Off The Menu: Meatloaf, Lasagna, Salmon, Greek Meatballs, Chicken Noodle Soup and Clam Chowder.

Coming On The Menu: Chicken Teriyaki and Ramen Noodle Stir Fry, Meaty Baked Ziti, Ham and Scalloped Potato Bake, Salmon Cakes, Chili and Creamy Tomato Basil Bisque.

We will also start offering Small Cakes which are 8X5 inches and will give you four good size slices.

Final Call for Christmas Dinner Orders. We are close to selling out!

For Christmas Week, we will be delivering on Wednesday, December 24th. Christmas Meals are $25 per person and it will be the only entrée we offer that week. If you order four or more meals, you have the option of ordering them family style, where each item is in a separate container. Great for buffets or family style dinners.

The dinners will include ham, turkey or a combination of both, scalloped au gratin potatoes, sausage and maple stuffing, cranberry sauce, southern-style green beans and Lynn's best ever cornbread.

Lots to update today! We are accepting orders for the next two weeks and this will include our Christmas dinner.

We will have delivery on Tuesday, December 16 from our regular menu with the deadline to order being Friday night at 8 PM.

We will have delivery on Wednesday, December 24 from our exclusive Christmas menu.
As a quick overview, our Christmas dinner consists of turkey and/or ham plus all the sides for $25 per person. Details can be found on our website.  Christmas dinner orders are first come first serve and I have no doubt we will sell out way before the order deadline.
