For anyone who is either on my friends list or follows me that do The Pillars market in Mobile. I emailed them yesterday asking if the market was still happening, considering the recent changes that have happened with ownership.
The market is still going to be held starting in September, but they are implementing changes to the application/payment system. Emails will be going out to everyone who applied for the August event. I've screenshot the responses to my emails here.
The market will no longer be juried and payment will be made at the same time you apply for the market. I responded to the second email response asking if they were going to limit the number of vendors carrying the same type of products, I got no response back.
As of right now i don't believe we will be returning to The Pillars markets under these conditions.
