Only a few sweet future guardians left!
Maremmas are amazing!

The little guys (and one gal) are really starting to explore. Imm sure with this snow the sheep will be spending more time inside with them and they can all get acquainted better. They’re going to be fabulous future guardians on their very own farms some day!!

Torben seems pretty pleased with his progeny. 😊. And Keeper is just the best mom!

PM if you’re needing a little guardian in training!

One of our maremma pups from a few years ago is looking for a new situation. Absolutely no fault of her own, sometimes life just changes directions.

Thistle’s been raised with sheep and seems to adore them, but is just at the end of puppyhood so it may be a few more months the until she’s done running with them. Shes so close to being fully matured! She’s a love to hunans, and enjoys a good cuddle, but is a bit reactive to new dogs. Nothing unmanageable, but I would recommend she go to someone with large dog experience to help her integrate into her new situation. At her old home she was friends with “her” dogs, and never showed aggression. So I’m fairly positive what I’m seeing here is mostly stress related from moving and being outnumbered.
Thistle is respectful of fencing, is manageable
on a leash and loves people.

More updates as I learn more about her.

Feel free to reach out with any questions.

If she’s still here when she’s old enough to start riding I’m not sure I’ll be able to part with her.

Please do not reach out if you’ve never had a long ear before (donkeys or mules) these guys are sweet and have a good start but could easily revert in the wrong hands. Would consider a beginner mule owner under the close guidance of an experienced Mule person. No flippers either please, we understand if they are not a good fit and they have to move along but we don’t want them to be passed around unnecessarily. Thank you!!
