We come to you today from a place of gratitude, utmost gratefulness & above all thankfulness to all of you. The wonderful folks at Rendezvous allowed us to fulfill a dream we never imagined was even a possibility. While we know this may come as a shock to most, the time has come for us to close the doors of Charley’s Kitchen. Now, this isn’t a closing forever situation, but a right thing for us to do at the given time. We need time to regroup, reorganize and come back better than ever to meet your and our needs.

Sadly, our last meal served was our daily lunch on yesterday, Friday, April 12th. As of dinner on last night, Rendezvous is operating their restaurant again at full capacity.

To our workers, you all have been the best highlight of all of this. You all made the crazy days and evenings bearable! You’ve been there while we laughed, cried and joked with each other and have made some of the best memories for us! Thank you for being you and the BEST part of Charley’s Kitchen at Rendezvous!

We personally want to thank entire Rendezvous family for taking us under their wing. We are and will be forever grateful for all the experiences we’ve had.

For those who’ve purchased gift certificates from Charley’s Kitchen, Rendezvous will honor any and all gift certificates that have been purchased for usage.

The Thibodaux community, faithful customers and our loyal followers have gotten us this far and we are so appreciative. Thank you ALL!

Thanks again to everyone for your continued, unwavering support of Charley’s Kitchen. I know my mom would be so proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish in her honor. She was the backbone of our family and us cooking has kept her memory alive and in our thoughts and conversations daily. Charley’s Kitchen helped get us through tough times we never imagined and made us better and stronger as a family. We hope to make her proud again when we regroup and come back better than ever.

This isn’t the end of Charley’s Kitchen by a long shot.
