It’s been a few weeks since Mac has been gone and the barnyard is so quiet… funny how just one goat can make a difference… 😞 the others have definitely missed him and the dynamics have changed a bit! They are just now starting to act themselves again.. but still not as playful as they were when Mac was here 💔

Mama Bird Update…I actually made this video several days ago and forgot to post. So we are in the final days of sitting now! She has since kicked more eggs out… I candled them the other night and I only see one chick for sure. Hatching date should be Thursday or Friday! So just a couple more days if successful! 🐣

Nursery is ready 🐣
Poor Mama has her mind made up to sit on eggs… so we took the eggs she gathered and has been sitting on today and moved her and the eggs to a separate coop where she can take care of them for the next 3 weeks.
So… in 21 days we might have a chick or 2 🖤

It’s gonna be a cold week in NC! Barnyard is out and about enjoying the sun today, even in the below freezing temps! Hats off to my ladies that weren’t distracted by the cold temps this morning and left me 4 eggs! 👏🏻
