Gustafson and Granzow Hereford sale March 14th!
It’s no secret that our herd is heavily influenced by Gustafson Herefords genetics. After getting to know the family from tying together for NWSS in Denver, when JP was hunting for a new walking herd sire that had a different pedigree, he selected a young bull from their string. That “Gus” (Sustain) bull is behind a large percentage of the current cow herd here. We have used 3 of their other bulls AI and our new young herd sire is a “Sonny” (Draftman) son. We could not be happier with the feet, udders, and maternal traits we have gotten in our females. Our Grand Champion pen at the National Fed Steer Shootout all came out of “Gus” sired dams.
You will not find more honest legit cattle with actual data to support them. They are real and “not f***ed around with” as JP says. At a time when so many herds are heavy in current trendy pedigrees and you need a shot of something “different” that will still improve your cow families, you can’t go wrong with these. We are proof that they thrive when brought East!
