Hi friends!

Things have been hectic the last few months, but I should be transitioning to a new location soon, and that means getting back to business!

At this time, I will not be returning to goat milk products; however, I miss making skin care products! Let's be honest, I've still been making Green Goo for friends and family because once you get used to having this salve in your arsenal, it's REALLY difficult to go without. Currently testing out new scents and when I reopen the online store, my salve offerings will be expanded.

That being said, I need to address the elephant in the room: my farm name. The name paid homage to my ex wife's family name, and though I will always have love for the family the name belongs to, I need to rebrand if I'm going to continue.

My focus will be skin care, as herbal healing and moisturizing (free from harmful ingredients) is a passion of mine. I previously did some herbal things under the name Apothic Wonders - I don't want to go back to that but I don't mind something in that theme.

So...what ideas do my wonderful friends and followers have? If you suggest a name and I choose it, you will get a gift basket with soaps and salve as a thank you.

I appreciate all the love and kindness in the messages I've received since I've been away. Y'all are wonderful and I can't wait to be back.

Here is the farm listing, for all who have asked. Please contact your realtor with any questions, and they will contact my realtor.

3 water rights convey with the property. The home is on a septic (newly installed in 2021) and has a well. It's connected to electric, but has a generator hooked up in case of outages, so there's the convenience of being connected to the grid, while maintaining off-grid self sufficiency. We have fiber optic internet, which makes working from home very fast and efficient.

Established apple and cherry trees. HUGE area fenced that was going to be our orchard. We have a few (8ish) trees planted in the garden that can be moved to the orchard space to get you started, and the 6.5 ft fencing is already there. The property is perfect for those interested in self sufficiency.

If you'd like to share the listing with anyone you think may be interested, feel free. The farm is so lovely. The view overlooking the valley is truly breathtaking. My favorite spot in the world is sitting out in the field, looking over the valley, surrounded by nature (and previously jumping baby goats). The property would be ideal for someone wanting a dairy farm, but is really versatile - the possibilities are endless.

Time has come for the post I've been dreading.

Rogue Hen Camp Farms is no more. My little farm is up for sale. The goats are all gone, along with the chickens, turkeys, and guineas. I appreciate all the support and friendship from my customers, neighbors, and friends while I tried to build a business.

What I had here was needed, and I feel like if someone chooses to take over and do something similar, it will be a success. Personal circumstances just changed, and I was unable to continue the vision alone. Things didn't go as planned, and I've accepted that is ok. I've learned a lot in the years I've been here, and I will take those lessons with me.

I will likely continue selling soap, Green Goo, and skincare in the future, once I have my feet under me and am settled in a new place. But as the farm name was based on a last name that will no longer be mine, I will likely rename any future endeavors to more accurately represent myself. Continue following and this page will be updated in the future once plans are more clear.

In the meantime, I have a small supply of goat milk soap and green goo that will be available. I MAY do another batch of cheese before I leave, but I can't make any promises.

If anyone is looking for a last minute holiday gift, we still have some soap and salve gift baskets available.

Choose two bars of goat milk soap and one 1 oz. jar of herbal healing salve for $25 - all in a little gift basket. All soaps are made with all natural ingredients. No fragrance oils are used; bars are scented with essential oils. The scent may not be very powerful (great for those with sensitive skin!) but our goat milk will be working overtime to nourish your skin.

Soap scents:
- Calendula, Comfrey, and Plantain - a soothing bar of soap, with the same herbs used in the herbal salve.
- Oatmeal Honey - an exfoliating bar of soap that smells like cookies.
- Eucalyptus Lavender - colored with spirulina and topped with a sprig of lavender.

FALL SALE: Standard and mini nubian milk and meat goats!

Last chance on these guys before I decide who's going to butcher. Nubians and mini nubians produce some of the best milk for drinking and for cheese. They're also considered a dual purpose breed and can provide meat. If you haven't tried it, goat meat is delicious. In a time when the world is uncertain, bring some self-sufficiency for yourself and your family.

All my goats are very friendly; most are so friendly they could be "pets with a purpose". The does have been dried up for the year and most of them have been exposed to bucks, so could be pregnant. I breed in the fall for March kiddings.

The girls are all from my list of keepers, but I need to downsize - so my loss is your gain. I will not sell single goats, they must come in groups of 2 or more. Get them discounted now; if I feed and care for them all winter the prices will be higher in the spring. The larger the group you purchase, the bigger the discount. May be open to bartering for already processed meat or something that does not require more of my time (i.e. no other animals)

Reach out with specific questions and I'm happy to answer. Please include in your message where you're located and confirm you have transportation to pick the goats up at my farm. I have albums on the page with photos of almost all goats; start there if you're trying to figure out if I have anything you may be interested in. Please speak with your spouse if that's something you need to do before reaching out. I have VERY limited time, so please be respectful of it and don't ask questions you could ask Google. I cannot be a resource at this time for all things goat, as much as I would love to. There are many pages on FB: if you're unsure if you want goats you can research yourself.

Lastly and most importantly, I'm looking for homes that will love these little goats as I have, or at minimum provide excellent care for them until they serve their purpose. 🖤

Available nubian bucks, must go as a pair. Will only consider breeding or pet homes at this time, no meat homes for this pair please. This is my favorite buck and he's only available because he's worked himself out of a job. Udder photos provided are from his full sister and his dam. They both have exceptional mammary systems, with strong attachments, long teats, and wonderful teat placement. I've used him to breed every doe possible, based on the does in his line having exceptional udder confirmation and production. Unfortunately that means he is related to too many does on our farm. He does have horns, but they are curled back and don't impede anything. He doesn't get his head stuck in fences, and he is not aggressive, even in rut. He is the sweetest boy. I have videos on our page of him sitting in my lap; he loves to cuddle. He will only be sold with his best friend Mick. Mick is intact as well and is another good breeding choice, but we never used him for breeding so he is not proven. They get along marvelously. PM with any questions.

*Update: Eggs sold out*

Alright my friends, I have decided to do one more cheese delivery. The last planned delivery was last Saturday, Sept. 28, but I hadn't advertised as I've been selling out each week. Since I wasn't able to get everyone their last cheese orders, I will do one more batch. :) No milk will be offered, as I haven't stored any for myself yet, and need to get some frozen to last me over the winter.

I will have a limited number of eggs ($4), soap($8), and salve ($10), and then of course the cheese. $1.50/ounce. Garlic Herb, Jalapeño Popper, Chive, Everything but the Bagel. Depending on how many people want bagels, I may be persuaded into doing one last batch of those too. So get your orders in so I know how busy I'll be this week! 😉

Delivery will be Saturday, October 5, in Thompson Falls at 12:00. Depending on order volume, I may make a stop in Trout Creek. Send me a message to order. 🖤

Available doelings: London and Binx. Standard nubians, unrelated and unregistered. $500 for the pair, obo. These were keeper doelings but I'm downsizing further. Both have wonderful breed character and come from very productive does. Their sires have amazing mammary systems in their lines, with lots of production as well. These doelings are pet type friendly, and should be very productive with nice teat length and attachments. My loss is your gain. :) Born Spring 2024 and shouldn't be bred until 2025. PM with questions. Can add 2 bucklings if you're looking for a small starter herd.
