Jason's been hard at work breaking in our sock machine and he has a new set of heavyweight boot socks available online. These socks are soft and fluffy, extra thick, and they sit higher on the calf to make sure both your feet and your legs stay protected from the elements.

This is a small batch run so socks are only available for retail customers.

This handsome guy turns 14 today! Leviticus is super smart, sassy, and king of the boy paddock. He can drop and breed any female because the ladies love him and they all want a date with him. He’ll be having some birthday carrots as soon as the rain stops today.

Today was a big day! As Rebecca processed last minute shipments for our online holiday buyers, Jason headed over to Alpaca Fleece Mill LLC to run a trial of yarn for our new sock machine.

Our desire for 2026 is to keep as much of our sock processing in Michigan as possible and we've been so thankful to have a partner like Faith (the mill owner) to work through the process with us.

This is one step closer to having true USA made alpaca socks that are grown with USA alpaca fiber and converted into finished goods on our farm.

Today we are thankful for our new rescue Lilly the llama. We didn't plan on adopting another llama, but she came home with us on Monday and we're so happy she is here.

If you are a local and you've been to the 4-H fair you may have encountered a sweet gentlemen named Ben in the alpaca/llama barn. Ben has been a long standing figure in the 4-H program (for decades). He recently passed away and his llama Lilly needed a home.

We brought her home on Monday and she has settled in great. She is at ease and very loving. By loving we mean she walks right up and kisses human mom Rebecca every time she sees her. That is amazing considering she just lost her owner and left her home.

Llama Lucy isn't thrilled with this new arrival, but she knows Lilly is here to stay. Sorry Lucy, you were once a rescue and needed a home too. Protest all you want, but Lilly is staying and we hope you two will soon be best friends.

Thank you to everyone who has shopped with us online this year. Your purchases help us give good back to the world. Lilly needed some good and we're so thankful we were in a position to help her.
