Ribs 6 lbs
Liver/organ meat 3 lbs
Soup Bones 4 lbs
Lard 11 lbs

Took in one of our American Guinea hogs on Saturday and picked it up today. 178 lbs hanging weight. Butchering was $138. 83 lbs of premium pork.

Feed costs less than $50 as these were pasture and forest raised with some supplemental hay and cup of corn a day. Total price per pound was less than $2 a lbs.

Who wants to talk about American Guinea Hogs? Small hertiage breed excellent on pasture or forest with little to no grain. High quality meat, definitely not the other white meat. We have 10 2 month old American Guinea Hog piglets (grade), litter A has 4 gilts and intact boar, litter B has 3 gilts and 2 barrows.
