Founded on February 23, 2016, Elm Hollow Farm has a vision. The farm began with limiting its breeds to those considered by The Livestock Conservancy to be, critical, threatened, or recovering. The first residents of Elm Hollow Farm were a flock of Silver Phoenix Bantams considered a threatened species of chickens. Plans for a small herd of Scottish Highlander cattle to be added in the spring of 20
17 came to fruition and have gotten seriously out of hand. We fell in love with the breed that has become increasingly popular and was removed from the Livestock conservancy's threatened list in early 2020. Now home to 4 bulls and 50 cows/calves/heifers, we enjoy the breeding of quality stock for others to start Highland adventures.
