Friend Valley Ranch is pleased to announce the planned re-opening of the Meat Processing Facility in Thorn Hill, Hancock County, TN. The planned opening is anticipated for mid-October 2026, pending all approvals. The Team includes both East TN natives and also life long residents of the community. Operations will be conducted as Appalachia Meat Processing (AMP), opening as Custom exempt only (USDA authority applicant). AMP brings over 30 years of experience in Slaughterhouse operations to Hancock County, TN.
