Well, the season may be over, but we still have a few more surprises left for you to take home! The numbers have been confirmed and the winners of the “Big Buck” and “Big Doe” challenges are in. A $50 gift card to Bass Pro Shop goes to each 1st place winner, and a $25 Bass Pro Shop gift card goes to each 2nd place winner.

So, without further ado, congratulations to John Cox for winning 1st place with a 248lb buck, and 2nd place goes to Josh Larrabee with a 199lb buck. For the doe challenge, we have John Scott with a 133lb doe, and Aimee Derval with a 130lb doe! To everyone looking to get your deer processed in the final couple weeks of hunting season, we just asked that you’d be patient as we are completely overwhelmed just like the rest of the shops out there. It’s difficult to give any sort of lead time as the deer are coming in quicker than we can get them out. We want to help as many people as possible, but we also have to make sure that we are taking good care of everyone’s harvest so please bear with us if we can’t be precise with our intake. Stay in touch, and we will do our best to get as many people in as possible, it just might take a few days to get it all sorted out. Thank you to everyone who has come to see us this year, we’re very grateful for your business and look forward to serving you all again next year.

2. Must Register and Submit Payment by The end of Reformation Day (October 31st)
3. Must be weighed at tagging station and verifiable.
4. Must Submit a photo of you and the Buck!!
5. Any deer taken from youth day through the end of muzzleloader season is eligible for submission. *For youth days or archery you must register prior to the taking of the submitted animal*

Winner determined by field dressed weight.

Well, it sounds like the moose hunt has been pretty tough this year, but we ended up with 3 so far, and this guy came in just last night! We just want to thank all of our customers for trusting us with their wild game processing, because we know how much time and money you’ve invested in harvesting these animals. We’re not the biggest shop for sure (but we are growing!), and we care about each one of our customers. We try to make convenience for you a priority, and our commitment is to get the most yield from each harvest, and to cut it up just the way you want it. We’re looking forward to a busy r***e season, and in the meantime, we’ll see you out there!

This season is off to great start! And for the ultimate in convenience, we are now a deer tagging station. One stop shopping, and we’re often available after everyone else closes. Just give me a call or shoot me a text and we can probably get you tagged and in the cooler know matter what the circumstances. Happy hunting!

The first moose of the season came in at 8:00 pm last night, and he weighed in at 656 lbs. If you find yourself in a jam after hours, we are the shop for you. Give us a call or send us a text at 207-450-5266 and we will get your game in the cooler so you can rest easy.

Here we go, expanded archery season is here! It’s warm out so get those deer over to us ASAP so we can them in the cooler and staying fresh!
