Looking at these side by side has me a little sentimental. So many cakes later, it felt good to revisit the little duck pond that started it all. Same idea, a little more practice, and still just me having fun with buttercream. 🫶🏼

Whether you want to learn how to create your own vintage house cake or simply enjoy one made for you, I have two exciting options available!

🎂 VINTAGE HOUSE CAKE DECORATING CLASS

Choose your house and join me for a two-hour, hands-on cake decorating experience! You’ll learn how to stack, cover, smooth, and decorate a tall 4-inch cake using classic vintage piping techniques.

⏰ 1:30–3:30 PM
📍 Hoosier Room at the Summit County Senior Center
🎟️ $75 per person
✨ Limited to 15 students

Your registration includes all supplies, premixed house colors, three piping tips, three piping bags, a rubber spatula, your completed cake, and a reusable 3D-printed house crest topper that can also be used as a coaster!

No previous decorating experience is needed.

12 photos later and we have a whole tiramisu birthday cake made from scratch for my favorite taste tester, delivery assistant, heavy-lifter, and professional “is this for us or an order?” asker. 😂

Both her main cake AND her little smash cake were red velvet because the birthday girl deserves the good stuff too. 😂❤️

A little wedding cake moment at Highlands Ranch Mansion. 🤍🦢

This all-white vintage beauty featured a tres leches top tier and vanilla bottom tier, plus a separate 6” gluten-free brown butter cake for their guests.

And behind the scenes? Four sheet cakes to make sure there was plenty to go around while keeping their dessert plan within the budget they had in mind. 🤍

Not every wedding needs a massive tiered cake to serve every guest. I love helping my couples find creative ways to have the beautiful display cake they envisioned while being intentional about where their wedding budget goes.
