This weekends weather sounds like it will be incredible but it is a sign of colder weather coming…..eventually!

Shifted the kennel around so that when I get tarps, there will be protection for Fernando and Slater!

Nothing is too good for my critters!

Yall, about November/December last year, I finally kicked my old pumpkins off my porch. Figured if it did anything, cool, otherwise no big deal!

This morning I went to check and see as I have had a few popping up here and there! WELL…..

I’d say I have more than a few!

Grateful to still have water in the pond but we definitely NEED rain and cooler weather!

I have some plans for the Fall!

What do you need before you can fall asleep? I’ll go first……I need to take my meds, need a cool dark room, my fans and tv on! I’m a bit bougie. 😂😴🤣

Took 2.5hr to mow this morning as the sun was coming up! Probably one of the last mows of the season. I took all the yards down to a 5 so I didn’t burn what isn’t really growing!

It is currently 87* with a feels like of 95*! How hot is it where you are today?

Drop a comment….

That is insane!

SOLD | 5± Acres | Denton County | Listed at $7,100,000

Denton County has been adding people faster than almost any county in the country for two decades. None of that growth makes new shoreline. What was there in 1980 is what is there now, and every year another buyer works that math out for themselves.

Congratulations to the seller, who held the right dirt long enough, and to the buyer, who understood why it was the right dirt.

This is what teamwork is about! Garsee Acres and Kimberly McQueen Garsee came to my place a few weeks ago. Now I’m hanging with them and getting things done!

Before and after…..

I came home from work today and my pain in the ass, Screechers, was flailing around unable to stand. I am pretty sure it was bloat but it could have been the heat.(they have shade in the barn). I am thankful he didn’t die alone. I was able to rub his face while he finished his last breathes. I have only had them for a short 4-5 months but they were mine.

I put him in this spot in the shade in the back pasture. If you live in my area, and know the original owner, please do not tell her. She has the sweetest, empathetic heart of any child I have ever known minus my granddaughter. Her momma will tell her when she’s ready.

Sweet Screech, thank you for filling my Spring and Summer with all the goat shenanigans!
