I hate to do it but we need to rehome our Sumatra rooster, Peepsius Maximus (or Peeps for short). When we originally got him (as an egg), we were told he was an Ayam Cemani. We recently learned he's Sumatra, not AC. As you can see from the pictures, he's still gorgeous!

He's an incredibly loving and beautiful bird. He loves being picked up and cuddled. If we hold him and put his head under our chin, he loves it.

Unfortunately, he is a single rooster only type of rooster which is the biggest reason why we can't keep him. He also has a very high drive which our ladies aren't real fond of. We would really like to see him go to a loving home because we do love him.

This huge, handsome bird can be ready to mingle with your ladies.

This is Nergal. He's a very sweet guy who loves to cuddle and be held and carried. He's a very small guy with a very big attitude, you might say he has "short guy syndrome". While he's very nice to people and he's fine with cats and dogs, he's still ready to protect his flock.

He should probably go to a one-rooster home.
