Dutch Dairy LLC

Dutch Dairy LLC Dutch Dairy is a family farm owned by Sander and Amy Penterman. Sander Penterman immigrated to America in 1999. This opportunity came in May 2002.

He worked on a dairy farm in Baldwin, WI to gain knowledge of dairy farming in America and to gain perspective of farming in another country. After 3 years of work, he decided it was time to locate a dairy farm for his family. Dutch Dairy started out at 300 cows and since then has grown to 850 cows. In the spring of 2015 Dutch Dairy has added a new calf barn that has automatic calf feeders from Ur

ban. This barn holds up to 100 calves with approximately 80 calves average at one time. Tunnel ventilation was added to the freestall barn, post fresh groups and holding area. The power was upgraded to 3 phase. Sander and his wife Amy own and operate Dutch Dairy LLC. They have 5 children, Seth, Brooke, Evan, Izaak and Ethan. Calves are raise on the dairy farm until 6 months of age and then are raised by a custom heifer grower. All of the field work is custom hired. None of this would be possible if it wasn't for the hard work and dedication of our employees. We can't thank everyone enough for all they do for us!

A little fun at the dairy tonight...It's homecoming week. The high school football team (including our son Evan) went through the corn maze. It's tradition to pull out one of our show heifers and get a picture with Coach Stokes. Thanks for stopping team! Good luck tomorrow night!

Fall is here! Leaves are starting to change; the air is getting crisp. The corn maze is now open! As in the past it is self-pay at the entrance of the maze and self-guided. Go through as many times as you wish. The raccoons were a little naughty this year and damaged part of the trail. Please stay on the trail. Enjoy!

Today, we remember all who died on Sept. 11, 2001, and all those who succumbed to injuries and illness since the attacks on the United States. We continue to honor you every day and will never forget your bravery and sacrifice.

Final stretch for our crops. We spray a fungicide to help with yield and ward off any late season issues. This year we opted for it to be applied via helicopter. Pretty fun to watch. They can spray up to 200 acres per hour! Our 830 acres of corn was done in an afternoon!

As we remember those who sacrificed so much this Memorial day, we are thankful for those who work long hours throughout the year planting, harvesting and crop care. Thank you Romanowski Harvesting LLC crew for giving up your holiday to ensure our girls are fed.

We wish you all a blessed Easter. He is risen, he is risen indeed.
