We are very excited about this cross and liked it enough that we're retaining both a littermate sister and a buckling for our own herd. That said, we're pleased to offer this outstanding young buck to another breeding program.

This buckling is exceptionally stylish, correct, and balanced. He combines strength and substance with a strong, level topline and rump, while carrying generations of proven animals and exceptional mammary systems behind him.

His sire, Wingwood Farm Tris Ayacucho, consistently stamps his offspring with excellent toplines, width, correct angulation, strong feet and legs, outstanding breed character, and beautiful mammary systems. Ayacucho brings a high level of consistency and improvement to his daughters and was the 3rd Place Junior Get of Sire at the 2025 ADGA National Show.

His dam, Wingwood Farm Dill Amethyst, is a beautiful doe we added to our program last year because of the strength of her genetics and the quality of the animals behind her. Though somewhat under the radar, we recognized her potential and have been thrilled with her development. She has impressed us with an incredibly productive mammary system, excellent depth of body, and strong overall correctness. She demonstrates excellent fore and rear udder attachment, ideal teat placement, and continues to mature into an outstanding doe.

This pairing combines genetics that we are extremely excited about, and we believe this buckling has all the qualities needed to become an exceptional herd sire. As such, we are seeking a performance herd where he can reach his full potential.

It’s been a busy month, including a transport trip delivering several goats to their new herds—and perhaps a new addition or two making the trip back home with us. 🫣

We’re now settling back into a different pace for a few weeks.

With a brief break in kidding season before our final does are due next month, it’s time to shift gears: catch up on a few projects, and maybe get some of the girls clipped and ready for a show or two. We’ll see. 😉

As always, we’re grateful to the buyers who continue to place their confidence in our program.

It’s been a busy few weeks on the farm—between a feature film production, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, and managing several does due this week and next, we’ve definitely been kept on our toes.

We also welcomed a beautiful set of twin doelings yesterday from a special breeding. 🎬🐐✨
