Journeyman Distillery is an Organic Spirits Distillery, located in the EK Warren Historic Featherbone Factory, in Three Oaks, Michigan. Warren, a staunch prohibitionist, founded the historic building in 1883 as a Buggy Whip, and Corsets factory. He revolutionized the manufacturing of corsets with the use of the softer featherbone, over the stiffer whalebone for corsets in the late 19th century. EK Warren’s success reached worldwide attention putting Three Oaks, Michigan on the map. We invite you to explore throughout the historic building and take a look through our gallery windows which let you view the distillation process as it happens.The original maple factory floors are still in place from the 1800s. We’re using wood from the owner’s family barn in central Indiana; wood that was once the flooring for an early 1900s schoolhouse. We have an original concrete bar made in Grand Rapids, with coordinates etched into the side—to mark this historic and unique location. Everything about Journeyman Distillery is handcrafted. We offer artisan spirits with a focus on whiskey. While whiskey is what we originally fell in love with, we also offer a variety of quality organic spirits such as vodka, gin, and rum. We distill, bottle, label, and package each spirit here at the distillery.

One of the best parts of Barrel-Aged Brewfest? There’s a lot to taste, a lot to hear, and plenty to discover.

Join us this Saturday, October 10 at the Featherbone Factory in Three Oaks for an afternoon featuring pours from Final Gravity Brewing Co. , Flossmoor Station Restaurant & Brewery, Great Mead Hall & Brewing Company , Harbor Light Brewery, Oakestown Brewery, One Well Brewing, Pigeon Hill Brewing Company, River Trade Brewing Company, Sea Of Monsters, Solasta Winery & more.

Expect a little bit of everything - from barrel-aged and imperial stouts to hazy and American IPAs, honey rye ales, Scotch ales, Märzen l***r, a barrel-aged saison, and even a hard iced latte. Solasta Winery will also be pouring wines, giving you plenty to explore whether you're a dedicated b**r enthusiast or just looking to try something new.

Cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award and see which barrel-aged pour takes the top spot.

And while you’re tasting, P.T. and The Cruisers will be live from 12:30–4:30 PM.

Add food from Journeyman Hospitality, the silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and the Barrel-Aged Brewfest awards, and you’ve got an afternoon worth raising a glass to.
