Homegrown cats!! Grow your own kitties!!! This is Guy Noir, my latest TNR success story. I wasn’t sure he’d stick around after being trapped and neutered last month, and then had to go visit the emergency vet for a URI. He’s so handsome, I’m glad he decided to call this clay pot “home”!!!! ( no worries, he has cushier options, but that’s his favorite day time spot these days!!!)

This is the far corner of my pasture, near Hunting Creek, where Ida’s flood water exited my property to keep traveling downstream and into the Monocacy. Yesterday, the water had recessed enough that I could walk to the fence and have a closer look. The 7 metal fence wires are completely covered in debris, mostly hay and branches, but there are oddities such as one of my lawn chair, horses’ head halter, various plastic items, feed buckets etc. The clean up will be “interesting”!

Good morning! I hope you are all doing well, and didn’t sustain too much property damage from the storm. Aside from minimal fence damage, we are looking at several hours of clean up, nothing else! Pheeeeeew! Wilhide road took the brunt of the storm, the force of the water swelling Hunting Creek to levels never seen before.

This was Wilhide road near Stevens at 2 pm. The water is about 30 feet inside my pasture, over 5 foot deep by my fence ( the nearest tree line you see) and wilhide road and hunting creek are just one big gushing river. I hope every one is safe!
