We've been getting a bunch of questions about our meal delivery service, and I wanted to answer them here! 😁
Do you deliver every week? Yes! We deliver every Tuesday starting at 9:30am. Delivery is free for Frederick County, and we deliver for a fee to Hagerstown, Boonsboro, Germantown & more.
Is there a membership? No, you can choose as little or as much as you would like each week, and order as often as you want. I don't like extra fees.
Do I need to chop anything or cook it myself? No chopping at all. For most Family Style Dinner Bundles, just take the lid off and bake. The others are super simple like heating sauce in a pot, boiling pasta or grilling if you prefer that over baking.
Are the meals frozen? No, we cook everything fresh on Monday and deliver on Tuesday. Some are able to be frozen, so just send me an email to verify what you can freeze and save for the future.
Are you a small local business? Yup! There's like 4 of us who work here and our kitchen is in Thurmont. I love using local ingredients (esp from my friends at Moo Cow Creamery & Hemp's Meat) so it's really a 2 for 1 with supporting small local businesses!
How did you learn to do all this? 3 years of Culinary Arts at the FCPS Career & Tech Center, 4 years at Johnson & Wales University earning my Bachelors of Science in Culinary Arts!! Plus working many years in the industry, which is crucial to learn and grow.
Do you make this at your house? No, we have a beautiful & shiny commercial kitchen that is inspected by the Frederick County Health Department. We are also insured.
My mom/dad/aunt/friend/etc. is elderly and needs nutritious meals, but can't use an oven, can you help? Absolutely!!! I think our Individual Meal Preps are best for this. Just take off the lid and microwave.
Do you know the calories for the meals? Full calorie & macro breakdown of each Individual Meal Prep are listed on the website. Make sure when you place your order to screenshot the macros for future reference.
How do I order? All ordering is done on my website SaraKepsKitchen.com.

Who makes your baked goods? We do. We take pride in house-making just about everything from scratch. I loooooved my baking classes in culinary school!
