We grow about 40 different varieties of pumpkins, gourds and squashes in addition to our corn maze. The Roop family operates a 250-acre farm in Thurmont, MD. It’s a boring name, but certainly an apt description 🤣 These pumpkins are a workhorse in any good pumpkin stack as they will match with any colors you choose to pull in. They can also come in a variety of sizes. Consider adding one of these to one of your decor stacks!

Apple c***r and pumpkins are a match made in heaven! 🥰

We are happy to have everyone’s favorite c***r at the farm again this year. We’ve got pints, quarts and half gallons.

Catoctin Mountain Orchard is always worth a visit for all of your fall produce! Select weekends include apple picking as well. They are located just 15 minutes north of the farm at the base of the beautiful Catoctin Mountains.

We are open! A little drizzle here this morning. Tractor rides will resume when the rain stops. Pumpkins are steps from the barn if you still want to pick your own!

Corn Maze for a Cause!

Today is a great day to announce one of our causes, the Lewistown Ruritan scholarship fund. As one of their annual fundraisers, they have a chicken bbq several times a year. Today, October 4, is their last bbq of the year.

If you are planning to come to the patch today, this is a great place to swing by and grab some chicken to take home. The bbq takes place right off of 15 North in Lewistown approximately 7 minutes from the farm.

Chicken does sell-out, so we recommend going early!

We hope you will consider supporting the Lewistown Ruritan!

To help celebrate our 30th birthday, we have hidden six pumpkins in the pumpkin patch with birthday stickers stuck to the bottom.

Find one of these pumpkins and bring them into the barn for a prize! We had two winners today, so maybe my hiding skills aren’t as good as I thought 🤣

Prizes include Brookfield merch, gift certificates and corn maze passes.
