We grow about 40 different varieties of pumpkins, gourds and squashes in addition to our corn maze. The Roop family operates a 250-acre farm in Thurmont, MD. Work for planting this year’s pumpkins has begun!

Today we worked on rolling the rye crop down. This then makes a nice straw for planting our pumpkins.
