We want to thank everyone for coming to Rodman’s viewing and service this past weekend and on Monday. It truly means a lot to our family for everyone that he impacted over his life.

We’ve had a lot of family time this past week and of course we have began planting corn as of last Friday. However, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity of some of the great grandkids enjoying some tractor time!

We’re sure Rodman is smiling down as the kids enjoy some of the equipment!

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Charles “Rodman” Myers, 92 years young as of April 23rd.

Rodman was a well-known and respected member of the Thurmont community, with deep roots in agriculture and local organizations. He dedicated much of his life to supporting the farming community, youth programs, and events like the Thurmont & Emmitsburg Community Show, where he served in leadership roles and helped bring people together year after year.

He was a proud family man, whose legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family. Rodman was known for his strong work ethic, commitment to community, and willingness to lend a hand wherever it was needed.

His presence in Thurmont will be deeply missed, but the impact he made on the farm , community and those who knew him will never be forgotten.

Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May Rodman’s legacy live on through his family and community.
