No preservative was used or has been needed at all this year.

Anyone who buys Timothy from us letting you know this year has not been kind to the Timothy fields......spring overseeded, fertilized and we have next to nothing..
We plant a late variety and ive held out for rain that didn't happen and it started blooming this weekend. Some new stands didn't even come up so Timothy will be all but non existent in the hay barn this year.
Hay overall has been down 50 percent in yields over last year and last year was horrible.....just a heads up of what to expect this season. Those looking for 2nd and third cutting expect the same situation, 45 days after first cutting and theres not enough growth to justify cutting.

To whoever hit our egg stand today —
You stole 2 dozen eggs and and partially made a "payment" of loose to***co and, change in the money box for the third.
This stand runs on the honor system because we trust our neighbors, and most of you prove that trust right every single day. The folks who bought their eggs today and paid fair and square — thank you, you're who this stand is for.
But this? This was deliberate, and it was low.
Unfortunately, because of this, we're now going to have to place cameras inside and outside the egg stand. With this comes a cost and a price increase that will only hurt the honest customers We never wanted to — that's not how we like to do business out here — but a few people have made it necessary for everyone.

Eggs have been removed until we get cameras installed, if you need some message us.

A Kind Reminder About Our Honor System 🌾
Our honor system hay barn runs on one simple thing: trust. The vast majority of you have honored that trust for years, and we're grateful for every one of you.
Unfortunately, we had two thefts just yesterday. We want to keep this system running the easy, no-hassle way it's meant to work — but that only happens when everyone pays for what they take.
A friendly heads-up: our cameras cover more ground than you might think, and we review the footage regularly. Taking hay without paying is theft, plain and simple, and it will be reported.
To the honest folks who keep this place going — thank you. You're the reason we keep the barn open and the system simple. Let's keep it that way.

Been awhile...Haying 2026 has begun....wheat/grass/ clover, wheat/grass/ alfalfa and alfalfa/ mixed grass to start. A heads up everything is very short but ahead because of little rain and cold/hot/cold/hot temperatures we've had this spring...this sets the tone for the possibility of another mediocre hay season....

Warmer campfire evening weather is near and we have 1 cubic foot bags of seasoned(and stored inside) firewood for campfires or your fireplace for those chilly evenings.

Oak chunks or hard maple random lengths 8 to 14 inches.

Our lady's went on strike this winter and have decided to really give it their all when the temps warmed up. So anyone that's interested we have eggs again.

A little heads up to our hay barn customers that have seemingly forgotten to pay so far today we have you on camera and will be passing this on to the sheriff's department..we have a new camera system and I will be posting pictures on Facebook of every thief we see.
I have watched 2 people steal today and if it continues we will no longer offer the honor system and appointments will be required....our end of year numbers are showing theft totals of approximately 15k dollars over the course of the past 6 months. You think stealing 1 or 2 bales doesn't hurt anyone well it adds up...it also ruins it for the customers who are honest..

Edit to this post the person in relation to the truck and trailer reached out and this individual is a long time customer. In this case it was a venmo issue on their end . We did still have one theft that day and after reviewing the video it appears the same person that was here today.
