I often get the question “Don’t you get tired of making food all the time?”

I’ve thought about it. You’ll do that after your 4th day in a row catering events.

And honestly? I don’t. Because if we weren’t catering, we’d still all be together spending time as a family. Then it gets you thinking - was it ever even about the food in the first place?

This is why we do it.

We were fortunate enough to sponsor 30 kids with livestock projects at the Seneca County Fair this year, and it’s truly amazing that we’re in the position to do so.

These kids put time, care, effort, sweat, and tears in to their projects every year to produce high quality livestock. We cook thousands of pounds of meat every year, so we’ve grown to appreciate a good quality product.

These kids are learning first hand what it takes to produce for consumers, not to mention the business side of it all. We had the pleasure of talking to a few of the kids about their projects, and the passion and pride that they have for what they’re doing is amazing - there simply are no other words for it.

We’re extremely proud to be a small part of their journeys in agriculture. We have been getting thank-you cards for the last few weeks - we want y’all to know that we read and keep every one. We can’t wait to see how the kiddos of Seneca county continue to grow in agriculture. Congratulations to all of the exhibitors!
